Just some random thing I noticed today. If you do a Google search on the designation "DO", the first hit is Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Did a search on "MD" and got the 1st hit "WebMD - Better information. Better health." while 4th hit Doctor of Medicine - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Thank you so much OP! I base all major decisions on googel search results. I have now withdrawn my application from all MD schools and bought myself some new OMM gym shorts to celebrate this exciting news!!!

If you search googel for WebDO, you get a french website. What does that mean?

Riddle me that, Batman.

This thread does remind me of something that really ticks me off: whenever I search anything to do with DOs, DO schools, DO residencies, new DO schools, etc, google just things I am using the word do, as in, "do schools...?" If I write D.O., it erases the periods automatically, and even if it didn't, I would get many useful results because most people omit the periods. Same thing if I write out "osteopathic..." I get some hits, but not many because most people just write DO, not osteopathic.

ok I'm done.
