Hi everyone,

I am sad and very unhappy I was really hoping to apply this year but my fls were not where I want to them. I did uworld and averaged 64% and Sb and old aamc at least 5 times and
I have the content done.

I can’t pin point why I am doing so bad on my fls. Maybe the issue is I didn’t do any 3rd party and I don’t have the stamina but I solved many questions and still doing bad Fl 3 504 Fl 2 499

What more I can do?
because I really fed up this is will be my 4th gap year

I have my test on 9/28 and I’m going to void it for sure

Yeah I graduated 2017 I’m in my 3rd gap year DO or MD thing doesn’t matter for me I would be perfectly happy in any DO school

No I would never consider podiatry I hate feet

It's a decent field worth considering, considering it's been so many cycles already. You have ortho, vascular, radiology, and derm all rolled into one specialty. The main downsides is that the scope of practice can differ from state to state, and though plenty of pods make $200k plus, there are plenty who make less than $100k...the salary is highly variable.

Which one do you mean? DO?
For the many cycles that have gone I did some postbacc so I wasn’t not out of school really until 2019 and I worked in lab and health field too

You need to prepare for the mcat with other FL exams. I would cancel the exam or void, take a month or two off from studying, then start over from scratch with a new plan that adequately addressed your weaknesses.

Yes this what I was thinking about I need to take more FLs because I don’t have the stamina

What are your subscores for each full length? What else besides uworld are you using to study? How are you reviewing your full lengths? Have you taken the MCAT already?
My ps and bb were fine 128-130 range
But my ps was a disaster (123) I know all the definitions but I can’t understand what they are asking
My car is always low 120-122 since I am ESL
No I haven’t taking it yet I’m going to take it on Monday and void it

You need to get a tutor for CARS. A section score that low will kill your app. A tutor who works with ELLs is especially important given what you need to improve on. This is what I used to do when I tutored the mcat prior to starting medical school. It takes a lot of dedicated practice but improvement is possible.

Do you watch the khan academy videos for P/S? If not, I would go through all of the videos: MCAT | Test prep | Khan Academy

You could take your own notes or use the 300pg khan academy document and use whatever you use for active recall (anki, quizlet, or just a word doc of questions) and practice the concepts. Khan Academy also has practice passages for P/S that you should go through.

For CARS, you could use a website like Arts & Letters Daily and read through an article or passage each day and try to practice maintaining focus and understanding the author's viewpoint. JW passages are also fine, I would just skip the questions. This is not MCAT material and their articles are a lot longer, but I think it helps.
