Hello,
I am D4 graduating this year. And I want to specialize in ortho. I am planning to apply this May, and for the next one year, I am thinking whether to do gpr or not. I have heard somewhere ortho admission prefer dentists who have done gpr, and that is why i applied gpr during match this time, but unfortunately, i havent got into those I ranked (i only ranked some of competitive ones), and now those available as post match are only not the one that has good comments. So, i was wondering if it is still worthy to do 1 year gpr in so-so program compared to working in private clinic as I apply this year. So, to clarify my question, will doing gpr will be more beneficial to my admission to ortho than working in private office?
