Seems easier than done. Half the passages, I was clueless on. I did the first chapter, and I got 23/43 on the passages I did. Either I got the whole passage wrong or the whole passage right(with maybe 1 question wrong on a passage). And the passages I got wrong, were not covered at all in EK Bio review book. Any tips on what I should do?

These are the ones I did out of TBR Bio book
6-9, 7-1, 7-4, 7-11, 8-3, 8-9, 8-15

I got 0/5 on 7-1
0/8 on 8-9
0/6 on 8-5

Can someone please tell me what I'm doing wrong here? These are from the passages suggested by SN2ed. some don't correlate w/EK.

I've gone through the TBR passages for the first 6 chapters of EK and have yet to run into a passage that was not at least touched on by the appropriate EK chapter.

Personally I think that if you can answer the EK in-chapter discretes, and do fairly well (10+) on the EK 30 minute exams, then a moderate to low score on TBR shouldn't be something to worry about. Just focus on understanding why you got things wrong in TBR.

I've been getting 11's on EK in-chapters and about 75% on TBR, but I have pretty good background knowledge on basically everything except genetics.

So is it completely normal to get some passages completely right, and the remaining completely wrong?

I sure as hell did, using EK and TBR for bio. I aced EK bio across the board, and bombed about 1/3 of TBR bio getting 1/7 and 0/7 on a regular basis. I think the bulk of learning on TBR bio consists of reading the answer explanations. While I was extremely frustrated with the style of TBR bio when I was studying, I gotta admit I was mighty pleased with the end result 😎

TBR Bio is extremely frustrating...They sometimes have too many stuff going on in one passage. I kind of give up on TBR Bio.
