What’s the reliable method to find the dominant hemisphere of a neurology patient clinically?
Clinically its very hard to do. Left or Right Handedness is helpful but not 100%. There are some personality tests/traits that can help add on.

Theres actually a book "The master and its emissary" that goes into details about this. Its on my bedside table but i haven't had the time to read it
 
Handedness provides a guess. Neuropsych provides a little more accurate guess. fMRI provides a much more accurate guess. WADA is the only 100% way to tell, with some added risks.
