Hi guys, I have been invited for an interview at this school. Although I was really excited at first due to the cost of the program and location; I found some really disturbing stuff about the program that has left me wondering whether I should even go to the interview or not... For example, here are some reviews from previous students that have attended this program:

In addition to that link, after doing some independent research, I found that the staff does not allow you to speak to current students enrolled in the program during the interview... This has raised several red flags that have left me contemplating whether I should even attend this upcoming interview. If any current students enrolled in this program can chime in and give me some input on the program I would greatly appreciate it, Thanks!

Their 67% pass rate on the national exam last year should be a red flag. Honestly, those reviews are horrible. I would second guess any school that doesn't let you talk to current students; isn't that a huge part of the interview? I don't know anything about this school but I would be a little leery after reading all those reviews. Did you apply to other schools or do you have any other interviews?

From a class of 2013 grad of said school: "They also lie about their national board pass rate for graduating PT students. It is not 80% like they say but a measly 16%. Avoid this place at all costs."

OP - you'd have to be out of your mind to go to that school.

I appreciate the advice guys. How do they get away with such things though? I really would like to talk to a student who is currently in the program... it does however seem overwhelmingly bad though.

I really would like to talk to a student who is currently in the program.

Join a Facebook group called "Doctor of Physical Therapy Students." It has about 8,700 members currently. Then post your request there. Do let us know what you find if you get to talk to someone there. The school seems so bad from the reviews it's almost comical if it were not so sad for its current students.

Well, if you really want to get in touch with a current student at that school, then I suggest you get a FB account and post your request there. It has a much larger audience than the PT section of SDN.

Anyone else have any input on this school? Hopefully some current students find this thread!

I got accepted to Dominican college. I would like to talk to current students to know your thoughts about the program? Or if anyone else got accepted too?

As of now yes too, how do you feel about the program?
