Hello all,

I recently got accepted into the Dominican University Post-Bacc program and was wondering if anyone here has completed the program? The program is different from other Post-bacc programs since its not an SMP, but a bachelors in Bio-Medical Sciences. They offer classes like Internal Medicine, a hospital preceptorship, histology, and pathophysiology if you choose the academic enhancer route.

Can anyone give their opinion about this program and if it helped them in anyway? All replies are appreciated.

I just got accepted too!! I would like more information too!

I have been accepted to this program as well. I'm looking forward to starting in the fall!
I love the structure of the BMS program. It really seems like it is geared toward student success and offers many unique opportunities to prepare for med school. I feel confident in my decision to go here (especially after some positive conversations with the post bacc director).

Most of what I'll say is here.

It was all well thought out when I wrote it (not that long ago). I'm not here often, in particular this forum. You can TRY to PM me, and I might get around to answering it this year. Residency and all, ya know. 😉

And you can check the Similar Threads below. One of them has a bashy feel to it, but this is a forum, you might as well get all the perspectives you can. It's old, but there is some validity to it as far as when it was younger/newer program. It IS your $$ after all!!!

Good luck
