Looking to start networking with other students that are starting the MOT program at Dominican University of California this coming Fall (2014)!

I just got a call this morning that I was accepted off the waitlist so I will be attending Dominican in the fall as well! So excited!

Just curious, where will you guys be living? I know rent is so so so expensive out there.

I have no idea where I'm living haha. I was looking at apartments in the area and its so expensive. Maybe renting a house with a group of people might be less expensive

Congrats you guys! I've been accepted too. Luckily I have family nearby so for that first year at least I'll be staying there and commuting. I'm moving from out of state so this is expensive enough already. Apparently in mid-May they are going to send out an email with a list of available places and rooms to rent. I'm looking forward to meeting everyone!

Observational hours
400 hours (200 at the rehab department of a hospital, 200 at a peds clinic)

Work experience:
Behavioral therapist for 1 year
Aide in the special education department at an elementary school for 1.5 years

Activities:
Event Coordinator for Asians for Miracle Marrow Matches
VP/ Service Chairperson of my sorority
Tutor for Medical Initiative Against Homelessness
Other volunteer hours at a Childlife playroom at Children's Hospital

It is! The cheaper the better. When I was looking before everything was 1,000 a month or more
