Finally done...

what I got.

PAT 27(100%)
QR 23(95.9)
RC 20(67.0)
Bio 20(87.4)
Gchem 29(100)
Ochem 25(98)
TS 23
AA 23

I took it at lake forest near irvine. it was very nice. the people there were friendly, and gave me lamenated yellow paper to write on.
But they gave me about 7 pages so i didn't have any trouble with that

Bio - got some really strange questions with a picture of a cell. also I got a lot of genetic engineering questions. I guess thats the trend.

g-chem o-chem - was about the same difficulty with most prep books.

QR- this part pissed me off. there was 3~4 questions that did not make sense. for example the answer was (A+B)/C but there was only A + B/C
in the answers. there was about 3 questions with this mistake.

Reading. - was so hard. after this I was so bummed I didn't want to take the QR section. my last passage was about morals and ethics (24 paragraphs...--😉 only about 5 questions asked directly from the readings.

Study prep books
everything I could get. (examcrackers, destroyer, kaplan, topscore... ) I was so freaked out after reading the posts here I bought everything I could get. actually examcrackers MCAT Bio helped the most.

Well I hope I get into a good school.

will it matter a lot because I am applying so late?

I would be more than happy to answer questions since I got so much help from here. (if I hadn't read posts here I would have took the test after going through the kaplan big book. I would have been surprised.--;

wow your scores are awesome. Congratulations!! 67% in RC and a score of twenty... it must of been a really tough section. In retrospect do you have any advice/strategies for the RC section or for that matter the entire test??

Which testing center did you take it at 0513 (Lake Forest)? I'm taking it there in a few days, and I called them and they said they only give you 2 sheets of laminated paper :-/... Did you ask for 7 or did they just give it to you?

I need to improve my PAT, Reading Comp, and Quant Reasoning scores. Any study strategy recommendations? For me speed is worse problem than accuracy. I envy your scores! Congrats ^^!

well first the PAT was not that hard.. just a few a hard angle problems.

The other PAT sections where more straight forward and clear.

For Bio. I didn't do so well so I'm not sure.. but if you have time I would suggest campbell bio and the exercise problems on the website. I only did a few chapters but it really helped.. I wished I did more.

But that takes a long time so I would suggest examcrackers lesson book (not the 1001 question book).

You mean which website? the campbell bio website?

Haha I had that same passsage on RC...The whole thing definately sucked. And also on QR you are right, there were problems that I know I worked out correctly but the answer was not one of the choices. Are you supposed to estimate? Not to freak people out but RC is A LOT harder than Topscore I thought. I could not find anything in the passage. They are long. Oh well, you have AWESOME scores.
