So just got done with the DAT... SDN was great or else I would've never knew how to study for this thing or what was on it and anything else about life in general, so for that thank you SDN

Scores aren't great (like the 24's on here) but they'll do considering I was hoping for at least 20's. Could have been better though 🙁 It's a good thing my mom was praying for me today 😍

PAT 20
QR 20
RC 21
Bio 18
GC 20
OC 17
TS 18
AA 19

Breakdown
Study materials: CDP, Math Destroyer, Destroyer, CDR, KBB, Chad's and Cliff's AP

PAT: CDP was all I used. Great tool! I was averaging around a 21 on CDP. Keyholes on the actual DAT were easier, imo. Angles, cube counting and hole punching were about the same. There was one hole punching question that had a 1/3 fold which I thought was odd. TFE and pattern folding were harder. No way could you rely on line counting in TFE, you actually had to visualize the object. Pattern folding

QR: Not bad. I had only one probability question. Everything else was on par with Destroyer. The only thing was time management. The 15 min warning made me flip out. And the calculators suck. It is super slow and when I clicked on 1 twice for 11, it came out as 1... so moral of the story don't use it!

RC: CDR was a waste of my money. The passages weren't similar and neither were they types of questions. On the DAT, my first passage was an ethics passage and I sat there trying to read it while thinking fml, fml, fml. So I skipped it. Other two passages were about fungi and extracellular matrix or something like that. Both were doable. Technique: mainly quickly skim/read passage jotting down key points and then S&D. I tried reading the passages but then it was really time consuming so ended up mainly doing S&D.

Bio: score isn't that great to be giving advice. I read KBB and Cliff's and took notes but only some stuff stuck... others obviously didn't I guess. The questions on DAT didn't seem hard but it was wordy and confusing.

GC: Chad's is great along with Destroyer. I did Destroyer 1 1/2 times. Maybe if I did it more, the score would be better

OC: 😱 I mean 17 isn't great or anything but you gotta understand I was averaging 14-15 on my practices. I knew nothing about OC until I was introduced by SDN to a great man named Chad. I barely made it through college organic and still didn't understand anything. So if you're wondering if you should spend $30 on Chad's Videos, do it! And destroyer helped too

Overall I spent 1 whole month off of work to study ~12 hrs per day (4-6 hrs on weekends) and did not get to experience the 200 degree weather Texas was having but it was nice to finally step out and smell the hot air 🙂 The day before the test, I barely studied. Did some retail therapy and around 7 pm started freaking out until I watched FutureDental88's motivational video  I started chanting "I am a champion!!" and it relaxed me.

I would really like to stay in Texas, but I did apply to some OOS. With an overall GPA 3.44 and sGPA 3.27, should I retake?

those scores are on par with a lot of average statistics. your personal statement, ec's, and other non gpa/dat factors will really come into play. thanks for the breakdown and good luck
