I just completed my DAT and scored:

Perceptual Ability : 21 percentile 88
Quantitative Reasoning 17 percentile 75
Reading Comprehension 19 percentile 52
Biology 19 percentile 76
General Chemistry 20 percentile 79
Organic Chemistry 21 percentile 85
Total Science 20 percentile 85
Academic Average 19 percentile 77

Overall I'm just disappointed with my performance except for in PAT. I studied a good amount for this test and scored very poorly in my mind. I got a terrible 3rd passage in reading comp but in QR I feel like i did better but obviously i didn't.
But what is done is done

I do however have very strong extracurriculars such as over a 100+ hours shadowing 3 dentists, a 3 year SUNYAC academic athlete, and more plus a 3.6 gpa in both overall and science
Do you guys think with this score I'll still be able to get into Buffalo or Stony brook?

I'll post a better breakdown with tips and **** next week. I gotta go get a haircut and celebrate my 21st bday right

BIG SHOUT OUT to vicsin and Dentalworks
You both helped me out big time

1 piece of advice take a lot of rc tests to build your endurance and while taking the test don't worry about your scores on the last section.

thanks for the shout out :-D!
you should be proud of those scores!!! You don't even have anything below a 19 aside from QR which no schools care about. 20/19/21 with 3.6 and your EC's (especially the athlete thing which is very unique) are very competitive no matter what kind of score the geniuses on this forum get ha. you did a great job. 👍 I think you have a shot at the NY state schools as long as you do a great interview 😀.

screw QR that's what brought down your AA, so don't worry too much. good job brotha! You definitely have a shot based on your GPA/ECs good luck with your application!

I'm from NY too! looks like we're getting screwed with hard ass exams lol. I hope mine won't be so bad!

"Quantitative Reasoning 17 percentile 75" .... Wait, 75% of all test takers scored a 16 or lower in QR? Is that for real?

Well, around 12% of test takers get a 17 in QR, and they all get the same percentile score.

So around 63% of test takers get 16 or lower.

It's funny because there is no correlation rate between QR and dental school success, either in the classroom, board scores or clinicals.

If the QR wasn't on the DAT, 22+ AAs would be handed out like candy.
