What a relief...

Only 5 finals to go 😀

Congrats! That will in all likelyhood be the class from d-school that you'll remember the most details from years later. Almost 14 years since I took my gross final I still remember most of the answers to that practical exam😀 Just don't expect that same type of recall from me if you ask me about the GI final exam😉

I just finished my gross final last Wed and I only have 1 more final to go (we only have 2 finals this semester).

Now to study some biochem. 🙁

But yeah, it feels sooooooooooooooo good to be done with anatomy.

we had out 2nd practical yesterday and written today... woooohoooooooo 😀

jb!🙂

The GI part, yup😀😀😀, but in all seriousness I actually do remember the answers to 13 out of the 20 structures that were on the head and neck gross final that I took.

Anatomy is just one of those courses that tends to really leave a lasting impression on a person.

That's it?? 20? Oh man I wish we had that. I had to deal with 60 🙁

We have 50 questions on our practicals. Someone in our class counted the terms for our head and neck exam, and it was somewhere around 1500 terms. This includes cadavers, osteology, and x-rays.

Congrats!! ONLY 5 left hahaha This is what I have to look forward too!! hehe😛

Just got done with my last final, 110 questions of biochemistry. I feel like I just ran a marathon with my brain, and instead of gatorade I was throwing coffee on my face.

You are all done? I am jealous

I actually have a practical tommorow morning for my perio class, it's basically can you explore, probe, scale, ect. Easy, I am still going out tonight. But no more didactic cram sessions.

I'm just WAITING for gross to end. Our first written exam average was a 70%, and our second average was a 73% (our practicals tend to bring our overall grades up). Ugh, 2 more sets of exams and a final cumulative exam left... counting down the days.

we had 85 questions on each of the 4 gross anatomy exams we had this semester...:scared:
and they were all practicals (combination of id's/theory)

I will not miss Gross Anatomy either. The only class this semester for which I may receive a C.

Done with gross. 125 questions on the final.

only 2 finals?? do they squish more finals in the second semester or what?

at many schools, courses aren't broken up into semesters like undergrad. courses begin and end at random, arbitrary points. in other words, some courses span 2 semesters, some 8 weeks in the middle of a semester, others do span the full semester. i kinda like it this way, because in many cases it eliminates a "finals week." however, it is kind of nice to start with a clean slate each semester.

Heath Care Systems 1 - got a satisfactory in it.
Dental Morph ends at the end of Feb.
Operative Technique ends in June.
Anatomy ended Dec 5.
Biochem ended Dec 19.
We had an embryology self-taught course (on a CD) that ended in Nov.

Jan we have Neuroscience - it ends the first week of Feb.
Feb, March, and the beginning of April we have Physiology.
Mid April until mid June we have Pathology.
Starting in March we have Radiology and Oral Biology.
Starting in April we have Intro to Clinical Dentistry.
Starting in April or May (I forget which) we have Intro to Periodontics.

So yeah, 2nd semester is more loaded but the courses demand less from us I believe.

Thanks for the info! Sounds kinda nice that there aren't like 10 final exams in one week.
