I don't have any DO shadowing as of yet, but am planning to shadow a DO this month. Should I wait to submit my AAOCOMAS until I finish that shadowing? Or can I go ahead and submit it and then inform schools later on?
 
Same situation - same question! I also wonder if it's okay to inform each school later on regarding DO shadowing and DO letter? ... Please advice!!!

Yes, apply asap and send DO letter to schools directly. It should be fine but your app should be verified asap. Add throw away ONE school and once verified add more schools and in the mean time you can shadow DO.

Do you know how long it is taking for AACOMAS to verify apps? Are they usually faster than AMCAS?

Here’s the thing about shadowing a DO; It feels like the same exact thing as shadowing an MD.
