Although I doubt anyone here would do this, I'd like to share b/c I found it mildly amusing, yet sad at the same time.

During a group interview, we were asked to go around the table and introduce and say something interesting about ourselves. So, the first kid goes, and for his "interesting" portion, he says "It will be interesting to see if I can get in to pharmacy school since I have no pharmacy experience."

Everyone at the table started looking around and thinking, why in the world would you say this!? Even the interviews were like, "Umm... 😕 ok"

😱 YIKES! In wonder what possessed the student to say such a thing. Maybe they were nervous and said the first thing that popped into their mind. That's definitely not something you ever want to say!

Oh man, that's the sort of thing I have nightmares about the night before somethng important. :scared: poor kid..

ya.. so i did something just as bad at my interview at usc. 😡

I think it is funny but it also depends on how he says it.

I have a friend who told me that there was a guy in her group interview that said he had applied to medical school many times but never got in. he also told them he was accepted into a med school in the Caribbean, but decided pharmacy was better suited for him....eeek in my opinion i would never mention failure in my interview let alone tell the admin that pharmacy was 2nd choice.

If I were a interviewer....That doesn't impress me at all, if not annoyed. It is very nice of you to post this warning. I believe some people do have different style in their sense of humor.

A true story:

Interviewer: So guys let me just ask you. i am just curious what other schools did you apply besides Temple and why?

Idiot: "oh well i only applied to temple because i know one hundred percent that i will get in"

Interviewer: "well that's very arrogant things to say considering the company you are with."

Idiot: "no no sir you dont understand. i am getting in here one hundred percent. i know this."

Interviewer: "best wishes"

guess what that idiot is not in my class. thank god!
