I tried taking the Pre-Naplex a few weeks ago, and I didn't know that I couldn't use Mozilla Firefox to take the test on my PC. So every time I would try to load a question, my browser would crash. After several attempts, I gave up. Then I found that I would have to use Internet Explorer to take the test, but it wouldn't let me load it there since I had already started the test. So I couldn't take it unless I paid for it again.
Frustrated, I decided it wasn't worth it, and figured I could just get my money back. They would not handle any refunds online and made me call their customer service. After several days of trying to call and waiting on hold for 20-30 minutes each time, I finally got someone to speak to me. This woman informed me that I could not be given a refund because her computer said my test status was "Completed." I was adamant that I had not completed the exam, and was only able to load a couple of questions. She then told me that she'd have to actually go into my exam and 'investigate' it and call me back the next day. She never called again.
So basically I wasted 50 bucks. Not a HUGE deal, but very annoying, considering I basically just gave them 50 dollars for nothing.
Also, I worked with a person who graduated the year before me, took the pre-naplex and passed with flying colors... Then he failed the Naplex. Just something to think about.
On a happy note, I did well on the Naplex... WITHOUT the help of the Pre-Naplex.
Has anyone had a similar experience?
