i got a C+ both in micro and lab. am i screwed? the school's policy to retake a class is a C- and below. am I stuck with this grade? does anyone know if I can take this class at another school, and say if i get an A, will schools and pharmcas look at the new grade instead?

another thing, is it recommended that reapplicants resubmit the same PS, or should it be completely new, or the same with some changes? thanks for all who help.

I got a C+ in micro, kept it, and got accepted. However, the majority of my grades consists of A's and B's. The only way I would retake micro is if you have a LOT of C's on your transcript AND you're 99% confident that you will ace micro your second time. For me, C+ is the lowest grade that I would just keep, a C would really depend on the situation, and a C- is definitely a retake. Pharmcas will look at both the first and second grades and combine them equally to calculate your pharmcas GPA. As for the PS, I'm not too sure but if you're satisfied with your PS and want to reuse it for the next year, I don't think that would be a problem...

From what I've seen on this board, it's okay to resubmit the same PS. You might want to add new experiences to make it more relevant. Also I would suggest getting a few people to read over it if you haven't already to make sure it is good as it can be.
