DO's in austin to shadow

so i've searched for do's in austin and called everyone i could find and no one was willing to let any students shadow....has anybody had any luck or have any recommendations?

Any of the hospitals will probably have DO's working in their ER. Just volunteer. Brack, Seton Main, and Seton Northeast all have DO's that I know personally in the ER. Brack is probably the best for volunteering because it is a trauma center.

Just get to know one of those guys if you're looking for a letter.

You can always call TOMA and ask them to refer you a local doctor. You called all of them? I would think some of the OMM and family practice drs would be more willing to let you shadow.

If you go to UT, you could check to see if any of the pre-med organizations have a shadow program.
