We had a recruiter from WCU-COM, which oddly enough was a MD from Emory say, and I quote...."People won't even know you don't have an MD!" with a huge smile on his face.
I literally said "WTF" in my head, and had to stifle my laughter. What a selling point!

Plus the fact that a lot of hospital systems automatically print out your ID with MD on it, and i've noticed the same unfortunate labeling with many white coats in hospitals and practices.
just fyi, I know quite a few students at my school that declined US MD schools to come to my school!
if your heart tells you the DO school is a better fit for you, then by all means go to that school!
The reality is, after you graduate whether MD or DO, you are a physician and practices medicine. just pick the school that fit you most and go with it.
