DOs: USMLE or COMLEX step 3?

What are the pros/cons to taking either COMLEX step 3 v. USMLE step 3 for licensure? Is whether you're in an AOA or allopathic residency a factor? Would you be missing out on anything with one or the other? Is there any benefit to doing both?

Im curious about this. I took Step 1 USMLE and COMLEX, but only COMLEX Step 2. Can I take USMLE Step 3 for licensure? I think that personally I would rather sit for USMLE than COMLEX again.

To be fully licensed as a DO, you must pass all three levels of COMLEX. Your score on USMLE has no bearing on licensure as a physician...

..I agree..I like USMLE much better than COMLEX as well..I feel your pain!
