PhD/PsyD Dosage effects on therapeutic alliance in psychotherapy

Does anyone know of literature out there on dosage effects on the therapeutic alliance? I'm curious if patients perceive a weaker relationship if the dose of therapy is low. Thanks!

Good question. I mean frequency and duration of psychotherapy sessions.
