Hello,

I don't know if this has already been answered but, I was curious if any of the schools have a double concentration. I am an international studies major and I want to go into international health but I have been working along side of nurse epidemiologist in a clinical setting within infection control at a hospital and really enjoy it.
I want to concentrate in both. I know that USF offers a double concentration in 2 years. Do any of the other schools do? I also know Columbia has a system where you apply for a program and then you can take the global health track... does anyone know of any others? This would be very helpful to me.

Thanks!
Jillian

BU allows you to dual concentrate. I have met several IH-Epi dual concentators while I was at school there. I was a dual concentrator (Epi and another(not IH)).

Of the two schools I considered most carefully:

University of Washington does not have an official double concentration option, but you can do a concurrent double degree by fulfilling the requirements for both degrees with any two masters, including MPH-MPP, MPH-MS, MPH-MSW, or MPH-MPH. You have to be admitted to both programs separately.

Hopkins has a completely customizable MPH. You can take any concentration you want or specialize basically 75% of your courses (other than some core requirements) to the concentration(s) of your choice.

Both are great schools.
