I know I am coming up with such garbage threads lately, and a whole bunch of them. Its my last semester really, and I dont want to screw anything up.

I have a lot on my plate...doing some more research, which I have to do and retaking the MCAT.

*there, less boring*

that is a good way to distinguish yourself, every pre-med is doing that, keep it up....Your on the right path if you want to destroy the human in you....

How come people never make plans to relax...i mean when med schools ask what else did you do in college or after college, i will say "Just hanging out, relaxing, enjoying myself, and my humanity." HOw will that sound. Right before i spit out, i wanted to relax just before entering my life long passion..

just a bit to think about..

yo archimedes, you need to have more fun. it'll reflect positively in your grades.

Geez...I was overwhelmed just (trying to) read your post.

Doing better on your MCAT and grades is MUCH more important than having a double major. If you can't do both, don't want to extend your education to complete both degrees, then drop the double major, IMHO.

Do they care if you did 2 majors instead of 1? Its interesting but if you can't do everything well and it brings down your grades, they'll care about that more.

Dropping the major may cause some questions but if your honest answer is that you were spreading yourself too thin and wanted to focus on your goals, then that, to me, is the mature action (and answer).

oh comon I had my fun for the day. I had Godiva icecream...you know with those chocolate hearts?

YUM.

Godiva ice cream, who the hell do you think you are?! lol

Man, this post is as boring as your screen-name. Do you consider yourself a dull person archimedes?! Godiva ice cream, who the hell do you think you are?

OUch!

I'm not sure if your school allows you to complete your undergrad bachelors 2 classes shy of graduating, I know that my school only allows one. However, if that is possible, you should consider completing your philo major over the summer. Maybe offer to complete your research/start up full time over the summer. I understand it may be a financial strain, so if that's not an option...

Grades and MCATs are far more important than majors, unfortunately. Double majoring, I think, is icing on the cake. I believe its your stats that get you to the front door.

Good luck. 🙂
