Im trying to decide between doing
Biology/ Psychology with a minor in Philosophy - Since its only a minor and i would have to take only 6 philosophy classes would med schools even care?

Psychology/ Philosophy - double major in these and just forget biology, i know lots of bio majors apply and all that, and i think it would be easier for me to get higher grades doing this because i love both subjects, i do very well in psych( btw i have only read philosophy on my own, but are philosophy classes generally difficult, what skills are needed to perform well, iam a great reader and can analyze things well, but i dont like writing essays and such.) Contrary to what everyone says about biology, some part of me still stubbornly and stupidly feels that biology is the best. And yes i know blablalbal major in what you like and that crap, but what if i like everything, iam a very anxious person and i want to create the best statistical chance for getting in. thanks or you help everyone.

your post stresses me out for no reason

A lot of medical schools nowadays look for originality. As long as you take the required courses and do well in them as well as the MCAT, it doesn't matter what you major in. I've heard that some places want to make sure you have "experience" before being accepted (meaning shadowing), so try to do some of that. Our school has even accepted a dance major before!!

The old proverb about the concerned pre-med student goes as such:

"Major in what interests you" --- be it double and a minor, a single major, triple major, a major and triple minors .. just do what you want.

You are just like me!!
I'm a double major in Biology and Psychology (B.S. and B.A.) and I have a minor in Bioethics.
I get the feeling that adcoms like the philsophy end of things--it totally changes how you look at situations.
I say go for it, not for the adcoms, but for yourself!

I guess you could say I'm a Religious Studies major --- with minors in Journalism, Computer Science, and Middle Eastern Studies. Yea...nice mix. and I say "could say" b/c I'm still in college, in my second year though.

Is there a bio minor?

This is just silly, or as you said, "stupid". Statistically, biology majors do the worst. A larger percentage apply to med school so a larger percentage don't get in. Very few math or non-sci majors apply (relatively speaking) and a very high percentage get in. So statistically go far away from bio.

yea there is a minor i think tahts what im going to do, hopefully ill be good at philosophy
