Hey guys,
So I'm currently a biochem major, but I want to add more to that (I know, I'm crazy). Which is better for acceptance to med school - to double major in biochem and neurobiology, or to major in biochem with a minor in bioethics? Or maybe a minor in Spanish?
Since a lot of the prereq courses for biochem and neurobio are the same, I would end up adding the same # of classes to double major as I would to add a minor. I guess my real question is if it looks impressive to double major or if it's better to minor in humanities, since med schools seem to be putting more emphasis on that now. On the flip side, I've also heard that med schools rarely pay much attention to what you minor in.
Thank you for any insight!
(And I know someone will say that I should just go with what I'm interested in, but I'm actually interested in any of these paths so that isn't really an issue!)
