DP Fellowship run by Path Dept

I was wondering if anyone knew of any dermpath fellowship programs that are actually run by the Pathology Department as opposed to Dermatology. I noticed all the dp fellowships are run by dermatology.

There must be some dp programs that are entirely by pathology?

I just perused four dermpath fellowship sites via pathologyoutlines. From what I can gather from three minutes of intensive research:

Alabama: pathology run
Duke: pathology run
Stanford: pathology run
Emory: jointly run by pathology and dermatology

Here is a list from that old thread for any others interested. I doubt dermpath would change departments (from derm to path or vice versa) over time. So surly this old list also holds true today.

Hmmm, perhaps we're both wrong. My initial perusal had it in pathology, but this UAB site states it's jointly run. The director holds joint appointments, and this topic no longer holds my interest. Peace.

I've never gotten the impression that path residents were favored even at path-run fellowships.

Here's also an interesting question. Have any of you at a program w/ a fellowship seen the derm-trained fellows actually do pathology? It'd be interesting to see them grossing, doing autopsies, & taking frozen section call.

I've seen dermpath fellows sit in on path conferences, attend unknown sessions, but never did anything you mentioned.
