For those that were asking about a DPM forum:

After discussion again in the moderator world we've decided that based on previous attempts it is not the right time to try this again. We have twice in the past have dedicated DPM discussion threads and have had very very limited participation. We will keep an eye on the issue however and if we feel that enough discussion is present we will reconsider.

While I agree with the mods decision, I do see the point of several of the DPMs that classifying them as "Allied Health" is a misnomer. To address this is it possible to change the name of this forum to "Allied Health and Podiatry"?

Really the title is inaccurate to all listed except PTs. PA-Cs and nurses are not allied health either. Allied health refers to PTs, Respiratory Care practitioners, speech and dysphagia specialists, etc. Since the forum is used by PAs, Nurses, DPMs and few scattered PTs, why not change the name to "Clinicians" or "Other Medical Providers."

Just a thought.
