Does anyone happen to know if, as a DPM, one may become licensed to practice acupuncture? I know as an MD/DO there is a program that is separate from a traditional 4-year acupuncture school for a certification. Is there something similar for DPMs? If so, is it regulated by individual states like an L.Ac or is it a national license?

Well, I am not 100 percent sure but my friend who goes to acupuncture school told me that acupuncture school usually evaluate all the classes from podiatry school ( class like path, micro, pharm,). So you could actually fininsh acupuncture school and get LA.c degree within 2 years~~~
