Hi - I am an Architect who is considering going back to school for Physical Therapy... Do I need to be fluent in Spanish to do well at UPR? Does going to school in PR mean that you will develop primarily contacts in PR geared towards staying in PR and less in the contiguous US? When is a good time to visit the campus? -thx, any advice is appreciated - CIR

Hi, when I contacted them I was told you had to be fluent in spanish.

"Curriculum is conducted in Spanish and English and most patient interactions are in Spanish. Therefore, fluency in speaking, writing, and reading both languages is highly recommended."

If you didn't speak Spanish you'd probably be behind the eight ball from the get-go.

Don't they have like a 35% NPTE pass rate?
