DPT entry international students

Hi
i have completed my BPT from india in august 2011 along with 6 months internship which i completed in feb 2012
i have also volunteered for 4 months in India
could someone tell me whether i need to be licensed for applying for DPT program?
also is it a problem finding internship during DPT as an international student
