Hello,

I have contacted someone about buying their 2013 Dr. Collins packet. I was wondering if Pay Pal would actually protect me as a buyer if something went wrong, like if I got scammed. Mainly because I read through the Pay Pal user agreement and there is a specific line in the purchase protection that Pay Pal does not protect against:

Items that infringe or violate any copyright, trademark, right of publicity or privacy or any other proprietary right under the laws of any jurisdiction.

So since re-selling Dr. Collins through this website is a copyright violation, if something went bad with the transaction would I not win a dispute through Pay Pal and be unable to be reimbursed?

I am just trying to protect myself but I really don't want to dish out the $360 if there are means of getting it otherwise... I am just starting to question if peace of mind is worth a little extra money.

Thanks!

I only studied using the Dr. Collins materials: the first time I used Kaplan's and it was tooooo broad

Ah thanks for letting me know - I have the 2013-2014 Kaplan but I doubt I'll even look at it much considering the success stories I've heard with Dr. Collins.

thought i'd share... I bought mine from a user on this forum and everything turned out fine for me. If you get scammed, I am sure that Paypal will not just allow the seller run off with the money, but definitely verify that the seller is legitimate and ask for pictures. I saved over 50% on the Dr. Collins packets, and I'm happy I made the decision to save the money and buy it from here. There would have been no way for me to afford the $360 🙁, but if you can, go for it! good luck.

Hi,
Does Dr. Collins have a 2013 completely new packet? I bought mine from someone and I think it was 2012 with updates. I did not know they came out with a completely new packet?

I think it must be overpriced. Paid like 25 for the Kaplan book and got a 97. +1 on the prereqs. Didn't have the anatomy sequence or statistics yet though or it might have been better.
