Hey guys,
I was wondering if you found the biology study guide and practice tests sufficient for the PCAT. Its pretty short and brief compared to like the Kaplan bio section. I do have a Biology background btw. Let me know your thoughts, should I be using something along with it?

I think Kaplan and Dr. Collins used in conjunction is the best. If you retained info from both you would definitely get a 90+ on bio and there will be a few questions not covered i.e. probably disease/nutrition questions but then again its only a few questions. I have more of a chemistry background but with those two guides i got a 92 in bio.

Kaplan gives you a bunch of information you will never see on the PCAT. Focus on what Collins provides in their practice sheet and do all their tests! Make sure to know all the organisms they mention in the micro section along with what they cause. It was basic for most parts.

If you have a Biology background, you should be fine with just Collins and the Pearson practice tests. You don't need Kaplan or anything else.

I used both Kaplan and Dr. Collins as well. I liked having two references for studying.
