Dr Collins Update for January

Does anyone have the update for Dr Collins, I just mailed him today and it seems like its costs additional 20 dollars and I was wondering if its even worth it to purchase it. Is it new material?

Also I have been hearing that Dr Collins is not good for math. Are there any suggestions what else to use? What about reading, any other materials used?

Consider the 20 dollars as an investment...😀 Hmmm, i thought Dr. Collins sends updates for free provided you have the original package, I guess their policy has changed. Either way, I personally would get the update. Good luck.

Illegal redistribution of Dr. Collins' test materials is the reason it now costs $20 for the updates. It is unethical to resell test materials. Going into a profession where you are faced with ethical dilemmas every day, this isn't a good sign.

As long as you have bought materials directly from Dr. Collins and they have your information in their database, you can get the updated materials for $20. You can no longer get free updates, even if you bought it legally. Unfortunate that some unethical people have to ruin things for everyone else, but that is life.

Quick answer: If you purchased it from a third party, there is no possible way that you would get an update.

Long answer: Dr. Collins says that it's illegal to get the packet from a third party. (Whether or not one thinks that's fair is a moot point.) You'd have to rely on the "goodness of one's heart" and their interest in committing an "illegal" act in order to get that information. Bottom line, be happy with what you have and good luck on the PCAT.

I filled mine out wrong so he had to call me and that's what he said he was doing. So if you aren't in his system, you can't buy the updates. But I do suggest buying his self-study guides. They have helped me tremendously. I know it is a lot of money, but if pharmacy is your ultimate goal, it will all be worth it in the end!

I have gone through cliffsnotes.com and I can see two kinds of books like cliffs review and the other is cliffs study solver. which of these two will be usefull for pcat prep?

I hate that kind of attitude. Fairness IS a relevant point because morality trumps legality. It doesn't matter if it's against a law because one can clear them self through jury nullification. Look it up. It allows the jury to free a person by challenging the morality of the laws themselves.

Not guilty by jury nullification. Ever hear of that one? Probably not because they don't want you to know. Many judges say to decide regardless of how good the law is, or how well it is interpreted. No wonder a brother can't get a fair trial. It is in fact law, a good law, that one must decide based on on the evidence AND the justness of the law.

If a law says to screw someone, would you do it? Research shows that people will because some authority figure told them to..F0ck that. WAKE UP and make up your own mind!

Quite strong words and rather unnecessary, IMO. If Dr. Collins requests that you don't resell the material, it is your decision to sell or not to sell. I was merely stating that not selling his package was his request. I don't give a flying flip what one does regarding his packet, .
