Dr. Epstein passes away

Just saw that Dr. Epstein, the chairman of Duke Eye Center passed away. Really enjoyed meeting him on the interview trail. Sad to see...it seemed like he had many more years left in him.

Yes that's very sad news. He was very supportive of all the residents and fellows at Duke.

That's terrible. I really enjoyed interviewing with him during the interview season this year... This is really sad.

Anyone know the cause of his death?

Wow, had not heard of this. Very unexpected. Nice man, and well-liked by the residents and fellows. Gave the chairman position a personal touch. He'll be missed.
