anyone knows anything about her besides she is the dean of Touro University ?

She used to teach a few classes at UOP (ie immunology). She's really a cool lady and nice too.

Can I ask you guys for your opinion on Touro? It is to my understanding that they started their first class just last year, and they don't become accredited until the first class graduates. I'm not sure I like that degree of uncertainty, but attending a new school can be an interesting and exciting experience. What do you guys think about the school?

Its not the case that they aren't accredited, they just aren't fully accredited. The accreditting institution awards pre-candidate status to schools before they enrol their first class, and candidate status from that point on until they graduate their first class, then they're up for full accreditation. The school currently has candidate status, so it is following the accreditation process to a tee. Historically (though by no means any true indication of the future), schools that have gotten this far have always got their full accreditation later down the line.

Ah, my mistake. I was under the assumption that schools had to receive candidate status when they accept their first class.

she was faculty at western univ of health sciences before going to torough (i cant spell worth crap, sorry). to tell you the truth, she never taught or sat through one class (Im a fourth year student at western on rotations right now) so i cant tell u much except she was not that active in public view (our current dean doesnt do much either).

peace
