My professor is traveling this summer and said he did not have time to write my LOR, but he would love to write one for me since he knows i'm a good student. He asked me to draft a letter for him. 😕 can i really do this? isn't this really unethical?

It probably happens more than you think. If you're not going to meet your LOR requirements or will be late due to his traveling, get to drafting. Leave it loose so he can put his twist on it. He knows you're a good student but your transcript says that already. So this is a good thing.

which UBC prof is this btw?
