Draping and 2CS

I wanted to clarify how the situation with each of the 12 examiations is going to be:
1. We knock at the door, enter the room. The patient is already is gown.
2. We unfold the drape half way and give it to them, and then start taking the history,

or

we take the history, wash hands, and then give them the drape?

When I took the exam at the end of January, the patient already had a drape across their legs.

Is the drape usually in a drawer or already out? Is it ok to drape them at the physical exam only?

Same here, my first patient wasn't draped everybody else was except for one other guy.

Apparently it depends on the testing center.
