May I ask anyone who has taken the DAT if they have been allowed to write on the paper during the 15 minute tutorial

I wanted to know if it was possible to draw out 15 grids during that time

Please let me know if you have or have not been able to write on the paper before hand.

thank you!:

I took my DAT on August 28th 2012 and I was able to draw the grids during the intro 15 minute section. I also drew a 1,2,3,4,5,total grid for the cube counting during that time. GL on test day! 🙂

I was NOT allowed to write anything during tutorial, there was a camera on my head observing me, they said that if anything suspicious they will report to ADA with my test scores!! Call place where you will take exam and ask!!

I was also not allowed to write anything during the tutorial or the 15 minute break. The testing administrator specifically told me that I could only write when I had questions on the screen. It could be different depending on your testing administrator. You could call in and ask, in which case they would probably look it up and say you are not allowed to, or you could just wait until test day and see if they say anything about it or not before you take the test. I took mine just 2 weeks ago.
