Dream Program?

Which program on your list is the one that you really want to go to? In other words, when you close your eyes at night, rest your head on your pillow, and your body drifts down into REM sleep, what program are you dreaming about being at next year?

I really don't have a top choice. I feel like I don't know enough about the programs to REALLY know which one is THE ONE. I'm hoping the interviews will give me more insight.

I hope deciding on my ROL isn't too stressful... 😱

I applied all over the country, and weather will probably not be a major factor in my decision, but I would ideally like to be someplace warm. 😀

I like Rochester a lot, but don't feel a great need to move back. My fiance has no desire whatsoever to live there.

So, passline, what's YOUR dream program?

top academic program with great case load and variety located in a tropical climate with great facilities and ancillary support. the attendings would be really into teaching and residents would have a lot of operative autonomy. everyone would get along and the program would not be malignant. we'd work hard but have 1 or 2 weekends free a month to lounge on the beach. whenever i'd get out of work the sun would still be shining and i could go for a run. everyone would do research but it would be chill. my dream program is...well...a dream.
