Surgery dept is shut down, gone, non-existant. All other programs including Anesthesia are on probation and the future is not bright. IMHO there is nothing to be gained from going there. There are other programs that are not top notch and not competitve to get (ie never fill) that will at least offer decent clinical experience and job security.
You can get more info about Drew also on the "Pre-allopathic" thread titled "Anyone get word about Drew at UCLA". Do a search and it'll come up. This thread has many opinions about the Drew program from current students, those interviewed etc..
