Hey guys,

I have interviews for these two programs coming up in the next month. I wanted to know if anyone knows much about the interview process for these specific programs. Also, if there are any DPT students currently in this program and are willing to talk about their experience(s) that would be greatly appreciated.

i interviewed at drexel last year. its a very laid back interview. they basically just want to put a face to a name and get to know you. i would recommend preparing to explain why PT is right for you and why they should select you. aside from that, smile, be confident but not cocky, have a pleasant personality and ask questions.

Thanks for the input man. The interview process seems to vary with each school so it's always great to get feedback from people about their experiences. I recall seeing that you are at Jefferson. Best of luck to you man!👍

Congrats on your interview! I think they have an excellent program! I interviewed there last year and it was a group interview/presentation, tour and then a one-on-one with a faculty member. The group presentation was a little lackluster but that may have been cause I had seen the same stuff at the open house. When it came time to make a decision I wished that I had more of a chance to meet other faculty - aside from the chair I only met a Phd professor who did my interview. I also remember that the group section of the interview felt like a bunch of people trying to one-up each other but I don't think that what you said in that portion of the interview mattered much. Good Luck - oh and they give great scholarships so keep your fingers crossed!

ajune,

Thanks for all of the input. I wasn't sure if Drexel's interview was group, one on one or a combination of both. I will keep my fingers crossed!👍
