I have looked at previous threads and reviews of both programs but I am having trouble picking between the two. Currently, I have no MCAT score, 3.25 cGPA, 3.15 sGPA.

I know the curriculum at MSP includes undergrad science courses. I got mostly Bs and a couple As in my intro chem, bio, and physics courses. maybe like two Cs....

If I go to drexel I would enroll in the MSP and then go into IMS to take medical school courses (a year later). At Tufts I would be in the MBS program taking medical school courses right from the get go.

Looking at both curricula it seems like you take more med school classes at Tufts compared to Drexel.

Which one would fit my case better?

If you can retake those C courses @ Drexel I would be more comfortable with you in that program. Otherwise, Tufts is your best option.

Yea they do offer those courses. But I am planning on applying to med school next summer. So during the second year of my SMP I would be submitting grades of the courses I am taking, right?

Then wouldn't it be better to take more med school courses this upcoming year? This way when I apply to med schools they see that I can perform in med school settings whereas applying after MSP doesn't really show that only the IMS shows that...

Absolutely do Tufts. Your GPA is low enough that it would take a lot more undergrad credits to bring it up, but high enough to keep from being automatically screened most places. That's when an SMP is your best bet. Since you can do an SMP *this* year and apply next summer with a full year of med school grades, I'm not sure what the benefit of MSP would be unless you had a very compelling reason to stay in Philadelphia.

This is exactly my point. And to clarify your understanding of my point, I think the best bet is to avoid showing Cs in any pre-reqs. You may wish to go around that by diving into the med school courses at Tufts, not a particularly bad idea, and likely what I would do too. You ought to see about the summers in Tufts for potential times to retake the pre-reqs.
Go where you think you will perform the highest.

I dont have an MCAT score so I couldnt apply to any of the other programs in drexel. Also I wanted the MCAT prep they have built in to the curriculum, which is why I applied to the MSP program.

If I were to do MSP i would definitely enroll in IMS the second year though. THe only thing is since i havent taken the MCAT yet going the MSP route would allow to me prep hardcore for the MCAT whereas Tufts wouldn't really offer that since I'd be taken med school courses the whole year...

So the MSP program allows me to take the courses I got Cs in during undergrad while also allowing me to take upper level graduate courses. I also have yet to take the MCAT. When applying to med school, will it make an impact if I did really well during the MSP year given that there are no med school courses?

How much time would I have to study for the MCAT while at Tufts or BU?
