Drexel Secondary??

I have seen that some folks have gotten emails from drexel with the secondary. Do the screen, b/c I still am waiting. Anyone else out there with this issue?

Yes still waiting and was verified 6/29 by AMCAS. I know they do not screen. The whole secondary PDF is linked in several other threads, I've actually already filled it out but don't know if it's a great idea to mail it before I've even gotten the email. Although I'm sure it wouldn't matter since again they do not screen. I'll probably wait a few more days, then maybe call Admissions and see what they say.

I'm in the same boat. And, like crys20, I filled out the secondary but am waiting until I get the email to send it out.

I just called them. The woman was nice enough, but obviously pissed that I'd called. She said, "We've just downloaded the data from AMCAS, could you give us a few days to get it out?" in an annoyed voice. I mentioned that "my friend" had received hers either last week or early this week, and the woman said that all of the info wasn't downloaded at the same time, and they're just receiving more today. I didn't want to push my luck by asking if it has any relation to date of verification.

Mine is also done. I'm going to send it out when I get the email. Still have to get a money order or certified check, though.

Same here, tigress, but I didn't call and annoy the admiss staff. 😉 Didn't get the official invite yet, but I filled out the PDF form and will make a run to the Post Office sometime today to get a certified check!

Hi Tigress, I don't think they're doing it in order. I was verified on 8/1, and I received the secondary invite over email a couple of days ago. If you were verified prior to that date, then they're definitely doing it in some random order.

oh weird. thanks for the info. I was processed 6/22, so definitely not in order!

I have a question about the secondary. What does "Time Period" mean in the work/activities section? I'm not sure what they're looking for.

I just got my secondary today, and frankly, it really irritated me. I mean, it wants me to re-enter my grades, GPA, MCAT score, work activities, and volunteer activities. Uhm... didn't I do this on the AMCAS primary application that they have a copy of? What the frick is the point of relisting things AGAIN?? Can't I just write them a nice little check and they look at my nice little primary application which has all the answers that they want?

I got mine yesterday after all. It was in my work (Drexel) account, rather than my gmail account that's on my AMCAS. I wonder how they even did that.
