I haven't seen the match lists for both programs. Being a future Drexel grad I can promise that the school has a lot to offer in terms of great clinical instruction and board preparation, also we seem to match in what we want as long as you are willing to put work into your education (I know people across the board matching in Ortho, Optho, Rads, ENT this week though we don't know where yet; for the less competitive stuff we have people in IM match in Columbia, Hopkins, Penn though so do a lot of other med schools). We also have our share of not so strong contenders but that comes with such a large class size. I'll tell you this there are probably few medical schools out there that offer the great community/cohesiveness that Drexel has it is just a really pleasant place to learn.

However if you are a NJ resident and can get the instate tution that would be hard for me to pass up, I stayed in philly because of my wife's job but if location is of no importance then I would go with the cheaper school. I think when I was applying Drexel cost 2x more than NJ state tuition. Med school is largely what you make of it outside of the top 25ish schools, much like undergrad and residency for that matter. Don't totally buy into the SDN hype someone will be by shortly to bash Drexel but its really not as bad as this forum gives it credit for, I hardly understand the hate for it but this place selects for high strung highly motivated people.

Edit: this post should probably be moved
