I think my question should be if a license/ID is going to be needed at any point in the application process. My state doesn't have a state school and I'm not applying for financial aid. Would I need it to verify my residency?

Not applying for financial aid? You get your student loans through financial aid. Are you not planning on taking any loans for dental school? You must be ridiculously rich 👍

Your story for circumventing the residency thing seems a little strange. Are you an illegal alien or something?

Are schools going to need to see a drivers license or state ID? I'm worried that not having my license yet is going to raise eyebrows to schools and hurt my chances.

Some school's ask for some sort of ID when you go interview so they actually know it's you. School's aren't going to care if you have a license or not.
