I was wondering if anyone can tell me how PT schools look at W's (dropped classes) in general? Also, would it be better for me to take a C in a class or drop it and take it again another semester?

I'd say it probably depends on what your grades are like and how heavy of a course load you had that semester. I had one W on my transcript, but I also had a 4.0 GPA. They didn't say anything about it, but I'm sure that they realized in looking at it that I did it to keep my 4.0 (which was true). I would say W's look better than C's. If you do drop, I would try really hard for an A the following semester in that class.

One, maybe two W's on a transcript usually don't matter, it is trends that they look for. But always be prepared to give an honest explanation for any W.
