I'm thinking about dropping a 3 credit gen ed class that I'm signed up for in the summer. I already have my transcripts submitted/verified and they're being mailed out 1-2 weeks from now.

If I do drop out of this class, am I supposed to send AADSAS another transcript indicating that I'm not taking the course anymore, or should I wait until the academic update in November? Basically, how do I go about this?

I think you do, especially if on your original you put "in progress."

Did you send in your AADSAS app? If so you need to notify them that you are dropping one of your classes that is a work in progress. As for transcript is your summer transcript complete? If not then no you do not need to send in another set of transcript. Only send it in if you have completed a term that AADSAS does not have on file.

yeah, i've already sent in my AADSAS app. i'm signed up for one summer class (no other summer classes)...and it is listed as planned/in progress under my courses. i don't want to take it anymore...soo i just call up AADSAS and tell them to get rid of it? no need to send a new transcript in?

It is really up to you. If your app is already submitted, then it wont matter one bit. I wouldnt call, just for fear of delaying the app. All in all, it's not a very big deal.

what if schools call me out on it later? i mean it is just a non-consequential gen ed course, but at the same time, aren't you supposed to report everything? lol i dunno. just want to do things right 😛 thanks for the help!

hmmm, if it worries you, then definitely report it. Just give them a quick call tomorrow, and dont look back.
