Dropping a science requirement

Hi,

I am taking Orgo2 in this semester, but seriously thinking about dropping it.
Is it gonna affect my admission? How bad if I have 'W' on my transcripts?

if its only one W or even two W's, they generally won't bring it up at all and it won't affect you at all....i've heard about a couple of people here on SDN who had the same question...no one brought it up in their interviews...i wouldn't drop it though unless you know your definately getting a C or lower...i wish you the best of luck...

One W for the most part won't hurt you. It definately won't be an isssue if you get a good grade the 2nd time around. I have a W in Orgo 1, and then got A's in both semester when I took it later. I doubt it will be brought up at all. It helps even more if you have a high DAT score.

Make sure you don't need two semesters of Orgo at the schools you're applying to if you're a senior this year. . .

I've gotten both my ipod and my tv. I'd say its for real. 🙂 The only hadr part is getting people to sign up for the offers. Many are skeptical. Its been talked about on techTV and CNN. There are many sites out there with pictures of people receiving them. If you'd like i an upload some pictures of mine. I'm very eager to do the tivo one now because they give you the option of receiving the tivo or a $275 Visa gift card. I'll take the money, but a 40hr tivo and put a new hard drive in it and still come out ahead. Anyway, if you need more info, pm me. I'll tell you exactly how to do it.
