Hi, im a current applicant, and have had the privilege of receiving multiple interviews. This means that I miss a science class of mine multiple times, and get "zero's" on the pop quizzes. I really want to drop it, because I dont need it, but i dont want it to look "bad". Thanks for the help.

Can't you just talk to your professor?
I hate professors who hold 'going to interviews' against you and penalize you in their class. Thankfully all of my current professors gave a quick speech on the first day of class about this topic saying that if you need to go, go. The whole reason you are going to classes in the first place is in preparation for the next step anyways.

well, we have 12 quizzes, 3 drops. But i've had to use 2 drops already..and were only on quiz 4. lol. Also, dropping this would help other class grades as well. As you can tell, im leaning towards dropping it. just want some input.

Well if you can drop it and it will not effect your core/major/minor etc. then go for it. Sounds like you want to anyways.

How is dropping a class because of interviewing conflicts, looked at as "bad?"

Interviewer: Ohhhh Anand17, we see here you dropped your not-needed class, why did you do that?

Anand17: I had to drop the class because of absences due to interviews.

Interviewer: Well, you shouldn't have dropped your class. Instead, you should have just declined our interview...

Seriously...If you don't need the class, drop it. If they ask, you have a perfectly valid reason...

If not needed, drop it. I just did it with one of my courses.

lol jvesco..yea i played that out in my head. But i also dont want..hm.."u had to drop an upperlevel science class..if you cant handle traveling with 17 credits..how are you going to handle the med school cirriculum"

hahahaha brooklyn...i thought drop it like its hot was snoop?? or did you mean somethin else...

nah drop it like its hot generated from juvenile - back that azz up. weezy was on it, repeatedly emphasizing the point that we are trying to make to the OP

weezy made it a hot line, snoop made it a hot song
