So I recently got accepted into medical school and I am taking classes. It was for working towards my masters but I found out I wont finish the required amount of classes before starting medical school.

Will it look bad if I drop my classes now (with Ws). My acceptance isnt hinging on anything. Also I did transfer from one masters program to another after one semester due to costs, if that has any bearing.

No, it won't matter. People are well aware that students often pursue graduate degrees to increase their chances at gaining a medical school acceptance. You've attained your goal so congrats. Time to move forward.

Watch your thesis burn in a smoldering fire while drinking a beer.

(but call first)

There have been threads on this question before. The bottom line is read your acceptance letter carefully. Many have phrases such as "contingent on successful completion of courses listed as already in progress." If that is the case, you are required to complete your courses currently enrolled. Failure to do so if such a clause is in your acceptance could result in recsinding of your acceptance.

If in doubt, contact your medical school.

Oh, I am not worried about anything in my letter causing confusion. Nothing in my acceptance letter has phrases about finishing my classes. Even had i finished this semester I would still need another to get my degree.

My sister was just yelling at me saying it will raise a red flag for residencies if I drop my classes.

Still not a bad idea to get ahold of your school, can't be too careful.
