I've already been accepted to medical school, both an md and do. I called up the schools and asked if dropping a course (which will result in a W) along with my secondary major will cause them to revoke my admitted status. The person on the phone said no it wouldn't, though it was just the admissions operator and not an adviser or anything.

Is this true? That if I got a W and didn't complete my double major even though I initially applied as one, it won't result in them revoking my admission? I'd still be graduating with a bachelor's and a single major. I also checked out some previous threads about this and got the gist that it wouldn't but want to be sure.

they won't revoke it for dropping a major, but grades are fair game so it depends on what they tell you. i dont think a w would matter much

I think it varies. I haven't asked directly but I got the impression that dropping my double wasn't an option. But it did form a large component of my app.

Just call back and ask again, and then get the [persons name
